believe in the journey

there's something happening here, a shift in energy. it is bigger than me. the universe has things shifting, aligning. people i know are growing, beyond measure. learning about themselves, their partner, realizing newness and finding a deep well of strength, insight and happiness existing within them. transcending roles, thoughts and pain, evolving beyond the skin they are in. dreaming, living, living dreams. our hearts break and we feel alone. our hearts heal and we feel connected.
this journey of the heart inspires me to believe.

others i know and love (and some i don't, other than in this space) are leaving to pursue their plan. selling what were once considered needed things. downsizing. leaving neighborhood schools, to create a new one aboard a boat or in a foreign land. trading a yard for the sea. a house for the jungle. truly realizing dreams they put into action. dreams they kept alive in a silent agreement with themselves, sacrificing so much all the while not sharing with so many until the time draws ever nearer. souls intertwined. connected.
this journey of the soul inspires me to believe.

then there is this man, who had been there, yet somehow i didn't see him, he didn't see me. which is as it should be. this man followed many dreams of the heart. his journeys took him through europe, new zealand, india, central america....more. hearts broke. dreams faded, yet remained.
recently you joined an expedition that awakened your soul. this journey has touched and inspired so many. and while i ache and grow restless for all i have not seen, haven't touched, experienced, i somehow feel. the energy surrounds me as the ocean did you. the dreams you have, the dreams i have...i no longer can tell where yours begin and mine end. a shared vision. this vision has me seeing so many things in a different light. souls intertwined. connected.
