waiting
such a wasteful thing to do. and such a worthwhile thing to do. to wait. waiting for someone. waiting for things to happen. waiting for things to come. waiting for another time to be upon us. waiting to grow. waiting to leave. waiting to discover. waiting for this phase to pass. waiting for the next wave to come in. waiting to hear. waiting to feel. waiting to see. waiting for news. waiting for the old story to disappear. thought i threw it in the temple to burn. guess it takes time for the smoke to clear. waiting. waiting on me.

Ugh. I'm sad that I missed you at book club this month because I didn't get the updates!
so odd, but yet not so surprising that i posted a "waiting" topic on my "family" blog page about the same time as this. as tom petty says, "the waiting is the hardest part" and i agree.
